The challenge
Bevica is the ERP built for the drinks industry on Microsoft Business Central, from TVT, a Business Central specialist with more than 25 years of designing, implementing and supporting ERP. We are the BI and Microsoft Fabric partner to both, and Bevica already offered BI to its customers.
That gave us a strong base to build on. Business Central holds the detail of every order, account and product, and the opportunity was to make what customers see of it as good as the ERP behind it: dashboards and reports with a modern look and feel, and a way to ask questions of the data in plain English, without waiting for someone to build a report.
We chose to invest in that as part of the partnership: to make a partner’s solution sing.
Our approach
Starting with what customers see. We began by refreshing Bevica’s existing BI solutions, starting with the dashboards and reports that customers use every day.
Adding our standard AI environment. Around those reports we added the same AI environment we build for our own clients, running on Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI Search, so a customer can ask about their business in plain English and get an answer from the right place:
- Data Agent runs a live structured query for totals, trends and top-N questions, using GraphQL or the Fabric Data Agent.
- Curated 360s pull everything on one customer, product, vendor, deal or project into a single consolidated profile.
- RAG Search uses Azure AI Search over call transcripts, reviews and notes to answer “what did they say” and sentiment questions.
- Analysis Agent chains the others together for one complex ask, taking a little longer because it works in several steps.

A safe way to see it working. To show it in action, we built a replica of a Business Central data environment in Microsoft Fabric. It is not connected to Bevica or to any customer’s live data, so anyone can explore it freely. It runs as the Beverages agent in the Insyte Experience, with questions ready to try, such as a 360 on a customer, product or vendor, the reasons customers call the service desk, or any quality concerns in tasting notes.
The result
We presented the solution at Bevica’s user group event, where customers could see what BI and AI on their own kind of data can look like.
Bevica customers now have a clear way to build on it, with a choice of three: BI customisation, tailored to the way their business runs; a Fabric foundation, built on our accelerators as one trusted source for BI and AI; and advanced AI insights, with agents, 360 views and search on their own Business Central data.
For us, it is the clearest example of what we mean by partnership: investing in a partner’s solution and taking it to another level, with modern BI and AI built around it.
You can explore the same environment for yourself in the Insyte Experience, and read more about how we work with partners.
