A rapidly growing multinational body piercing company—operating both online and through an expanding network of retail locations—engaged InsyteGroup to streamline their reporting, analytics, and data infrastructure. The business was facing challenges with a fragmented technology landscape involving platforms such as NetSuite, Lightspeed, Deputy, Shopify, Kepler, Salesforce, and Cin7. Despite having access to a significant volume of data, valuable insights were difficult to access due to disconnected systems and manual workarounds.

For Stage 1 of the project, we integrated with Lightspeed to quickly access meaningful data. This initial phase was approached as a proof of concept—starting small, as we often do—to demonstrate our ability to deliver high-quality data and build confidence with the client. Our aim is always to prove real value early on, giving clients the reassurance to scale with us.

Following the Lightspeed integration, we progressed to building out the client’s data warehousing capabilities. This phase has been fundamental to the success of the overall engagement, providing the underlying structure on which all reporting and analytics now depend. Rather than conducting a one-off data audit, we meticulously constructed the data backbone piece by piece, adapting as the project evolved.

Although the client had already invested in NetSuite, it had not been effectively utilised. We helped unlock its potential by establishing it as the central system of record and ensuring seamless integration across the broader data ecosystem.

The dashboards we developed allow the client to analyse performance across all areas of the business, from operations and staffing to inventory and customer engagement. With unlimited access to structured, reliable data, they are now empowered to conduct their own analysis and uncover actionable insights. This ability to explore data freely has become a critical driver for informed decision-making and a deeper understanding of their business from every angle.
