Streamlining operations through end-to-end workflow automation
Following the success of their Business Intelligence transformation, a leading multinational body piercing retailer re-engaged InsyteGroup to bring to life a series of operational goals they had long aspired to achieve. While enhanced visibility through Power BI had already delivered significant value, key opportunities remained to streamline workflows and improve system integration across platforms including Shopify, Lightspeed, Deputy, Salesforce, and Cin7.
Working in close partnership with the client, InsyteGroup was tasked with developing a sustainable integration strategy that would reduce manual effort, improve operational alignment, and establish NetSuite as the single source of truth across the business. Previous attempts to achieve this using generic integration tools had fallen short, lacking the precision and scalability required to support their ongoing growth.
Building on the foundations laid during the BI phase, our team took the same methodical, piece-by-piece approach to constructing a robust data and workflow backbone. This incremental, highly tailored method ensured each component was fit for purpose and aligned with the client’s broader strategic objectives.
Our consultants worked cross-functionally with teams spanning operations, retail, and IT to map existing processes and identify key automation opportunities. Intelligent workflows were then designed and implemented to synchronise real-time data across core business functions—including inventory management, staff scheduling, sales performance, and customer engagement—anchored by the reliability of NetSuite’s centralised data model.
As part of this work, InsyteGroup also developed a bespoke API to bridge the client’s online booking system with Deputy, their staff scheduling platform. This integration enabled customers to make real-time appointments based on live staff availability, delivering a smoother booking experience and unlocking new revenue streams.
