Following the success of their Business Intelligence transformation, a leading multinational body piercing retailer re-engaged InsyteGroup to address a new set of operational challenges. While enhanced visibility through Power BI had already delivered significant value, the client recognised that key workflows across their technology landscape—spanning Shopify, Lightspeed, Deputy, Salesforce, and Cin7—were still fragmented.

Manual processes, duplicated effort, and disconnected platforms created inefficiencies across the business. Previous attempts to resolve these issues with off-the-shelf integration tools had failed, lacking the precision, scalability, and sustainability required to support rapid growth. The client needed a more tailored, robust approach that would streamline operations and position NetSuite as the central source of truth.

Solution

InsyteGroup designed and delivered an end-to-end workflow automation strategy, building on the data backbone established during the earlier BI project. Taking the same methodical, piece-by-piece approach, we ensured every integration was purpose-built, scalable, and fully aligned with the client’s broader strategic objectives.

Working closely with stakeholders across operations, retail, and IT, we:

  • Mapped existing processes to identify automation opportunities across inventory, staffing, sales, and customer engagement

  • Designed intelligent workflows that synchronised real-time data between Shopify, Lightspeed, Deputy, Salesforce, and Cin7

  • Anchored the integrations in NetSuite, ensuring a consistent and reliable system of record across the business

  • Developed a bespoke API connecting the client’s online booking platform with Deputy, enabling real-time customer appointments tied directly to live staff availability

This cross-functional approach not only reduced operational friction but also unlocked new revenue opportunities by enabling a seamless online booking experience.
